The keynote session at the IALD Enlighten Americas 2015 last week in Baltimore induced many ooh’s and aah’s from the audience. Sakchin Besette, the Creative Director from Moment Factory, took the audience for a ride through the fantasy world. Don’t we all need to get out of the mundane routines and dream wild once a while? Enjoy 🙂
For: Le Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook
Where: À Coaticook, Québec, Canada
Wanting to showcase its charms, Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook commissioned Moment Factory to create Foresta Lumina, an illuminated night walk through the forest.
After nightfall in summer, visitors are invited to discover an enchanted trail winding 2 km through the woods. As they walk through the mysterious forest, visitors meet characters inspired by the area’s myths and legends, who draw them into an immersive adventure.
The scenography, combining projections and lighting, is accompanied by an ethereal soundtrack. The result is an unparalleled sensory experience.
ODE À LA VIE ON THE SAGRADA FAMILIA
For: the City of Barcelona and the City of Montreal
Moment Factory was invited by the City of Barcelona and the City of Montreal to create the first sound and light spectacle to be projected on the complex facade of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.
Our inspiration : Antoni Gaudi’s dream to see his façade full of colors.
This 15 minute-long multimedia show, using video mapping techniques and our X-Agora playback system, was presented within La Mercè Festival in Barcelona on Sept. 21, 22 and 23, 2012.
Original idea: RENAUD – Architecture d’événements
